Stocks fall for third consecutive day
Bangladesh's stocks fell in the morning session today, stretching the loss to the third consecutive day.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), lost 15 points, or 0.24 per cent, to 6,267 at 12:30 pm.
Turnover stood at Tk 268 crore.
Of the securities, 26 advanced, 147 declined and 125 remained unchanged.
The Caspi, all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, dropped 10 points, or 0.05 per cent, to 18,524.
Of the issues, 14 rose, 50 retreated, and 24 saw no price movement.
