Stocks snap falling streak
The indices of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose today snapping a five-day falling streak.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, gained 10 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 6,192 at 11:45 am.
Turnover stood at Tk 99 crore.
Of the securities, 51 advanced, 91 declined and 121 remained unchanged.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained 19 points, or 0.1 per cent, to 18,295.
Of the issues, 23 rose, 14 retreated, and 19 saw no price movement.
