The newly-elected executive council of Greater Chittagong Samity Gazipur for 2025-2026 was unveiled at a ceremony held at a local hotel.

After winning the election, Mohammad Sohel Sadat took oath as the president and Dr Debjit Roy as general secretary.

The election was conducted under the chairmanship of Professor SM Mizanur Rahman, chairman of the Election Commission 2024 of Greater Chittagong Samity Gazipur; and Election Commissioner member Dr Faridul Alam.

Former President Shahidul Alam Jhinuk, Chairman of the Advisory Council MA Mahmudur Rahman, former president Helal Uddin Ahmed and General Secretary of Duet Student Forum Chittagong (Gangchil) Maimul Hasan, elected members of the new executive council.

Other leaders were also present at the event.

The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by former president Shahidul Alam Jhinuk.
