'Nijer Bolar Moto Ekta Golpo' marks 7 years of impactful work

"Nijer Bolar Moto Ekta Golpo" has completed seven years of empowering Bangladeshi youth through entrepreneurship and skills development.

Led by volunteer mentor Iqbal Bahar Zahid, the initiative has achieved global recognition for conducting 2,555 consecutive days of free online training, reaching 1.8 million participants from all 64 districts of Bangladesh and 50 countries worldwide.

The initiative, which began on January 1, 2018, offers free 90-day training sessions on entrepreneurship, leadership, and essential life skills. Over 28 batches, each designed with 460 topics, the initiative has equipped participants to create their own success stories. As a result, 110,000 small and medium entrepreneurs have emerged, creating 500,000 jobs across the country. Among them, 177,000 women have been empowered through training programs aimed at skill-building and economic independence.

In addition to its reach in Bangladesh, the initiative has extended its impact to 48,000 Non-Resident Bangladeshis in 50 countries, fostering global networks and opportunities for collaboration. With the support of a network of 5,000 volunteers working in 64 districts and 492 upazilas, Nijer Bolar Moto Ekta Golpo has made a significant social impact. It has provided food, blankets, and aid to thousands during natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic, planted 67,000 trees, donated 49,000 bags of blood, and supported education and shelter for underprivileged communities.

"Nijer Bolar Moto Ekta Golpo" aims to create 300,000 new entrepreneurs and generate 1,000,000 job opportunities in the next two years.

Through unwavering commitment and a vision to reduce unemployment and build better citizens, Iqbal Bahar Zahid continues to inspire millions in Bangladesh and beyond, proving that one person's efforts can drive lasting change.
