Xiaomi recognised as Bangladesh’s 'Number 1 Mobile Handset Brand'

Xiaomi has been named the "Most Loved Brand" in the Mobile Handset category at the 16th edition of the Best Brand Award 2024, organised by Bangladesh Brand Forum.

The award was presented to Ziauddin Chowdhury, Country Manager of Xiaomi Bangladesh, at a gala ceremony held at the InterContinental Dhaka on December 26, 2024.  

The recognition displays Xiaomi's strong connection with its loyal customer base and its commitment to delivering innovative and high-quality products tailored to the Bangladeshi market. 

Expressing gratitude, Ziauddin Chowdhury said, "This recognition reflects our steadfast dedication to crafting exceptional and forward-thinking products that truly align with the desires and aspirations of our customers in Bangladesh. The Best Brand Award is a flagship initiative honoring brands that excel in building strong consumer relationships. The selection process included a comprehensive survey of 10,000 respondents from both urban and rural areas across Bangladesh's eight divisions. Key evaluation criteria were Brand Salience, Preference, Recommendation, and Innovation.  

Xiaomi's popularity is driven by its focus on affordable, cutting-edge technology. In the third quarter of 2024, the Xiaomi Redmi 13C ranked among the top 10 best-selling smartphones globally. Speculations are rife about the launch of the next-generation Xiaomi Redmi Note series, further strengthening its market position.  

Xiaomi commenced its operations in Bangladesh in July 2018 and has since established itself as a leading smartphone brand, continually earning consumer trust and recognition through exceptional customer engagement and innovative branding strategies.
