2 'Shibir' men held with 55 bombs in Dhaka

Police today detained two alleged Shibir men, and recovered 55 crude bombs and bomb making materials from their rented flat at Mirpur in Dhaka.

The detainees are Shafik and Rahim, Inspector Shafiqur Rahman of Mirpur Police Station told The Daily Star. They are Dhaka College unit Shibir leaders, the inspector claimed.

Large number of Jihadi books and explosive materials were also recovered from the flat in Dakkhin Pirerbagh area around 8:30pm, the police official informed.
