Woman found dead at Dhaka house

Police recovered the decomposed body of a woman from her house in Rajabazar area of Dhaka this afternoon.

Deceased Humaira Jahan Chowdhury, 35, used to live alone in a flat of a three-storey building in West Rajabazar area, GG Biswas, officer-in-charge of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, told The Daily Star.

It has been learnt that she worked as a female flight attendant of Qatar Airways and left the job in 2007.

Quoting locals, police said the room was locked for few days and sensing trouble neighbours informed police about the matter. Police broke open the door of the second floor around 5:00pm and recovered the decomposed body, the police official said.
