Bus crushes schoolteacher in Kamalapur

A schoolteacher was crushed under the wheels of a rashly-driven bus at Kamalapur in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Josef Barman, 28, son of Badu Barman, a resident of Panchagarh district.
Josef was a teacher of Ganagatha English Medium School and used to live at a rented house at South Kamalapur.
The accident took place when a bus loaded with passengers crashed into Josef around 7:30am, leaving him dead on the spot, Praloy Kumar, sub-inspector of Shajahanpur Police Station, said.
Police seized the bus and arrested the helper while the driver managed to escape, the SI added.
