Fire at Dhanmondi residential building

A fire broke out at a residential building at Dhanmondi in the capital this afternoon, fire service official say.

The blaze was originated on the second floor of a multi-storey building on Dhanmondi 15 around 3:00pm, said Enayet Hossain, officer-in-charge of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarter.

After nearly an-hour of effort four fire fighting units doused the blaze, the official said.

Other details of the incident could not be known immediately.
