Indian visa application centre opens at Uttara

An Indian visa application centre was opened at Uttara today.

The centre, located at house 56, road 18 at Uttara sector-7, will be open for visa application from tomorrow, a press release issued in this regard said.

Acting high commissioner of India Adarsh Swaika inaugurated the centre in presence of officials from the State Bank of India, the authorised agent for Indian High Commission.

This is the fourth Indian visa application centre in Dhaka besides Gulshan, Dhanmondi and Motijheel, and the 11th in the whole of Bangladesh.
