The deceased was identified as Jesmin, 38, while the injured were Jesmin's son Amanullah, 11, and daughter Sanjida, 8, said Farhad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
The fire started from an electric short circuit at a furniture shop on the ground floor of the two-story tin-shed building at Boithakhali around 4:00am and soon engulfed the entire house.
