Dr Mostofa Kamal, an associate professor of Islamic Studies department of the Jagannath University (JnU), has been appointed as proctor of the university.

The university authorities today appointed Kamal as proctor for the next two years, our JnU correspondent reports quoting Md Ohiduzzaman, registrar of the university.

Mostofa Kamal will take over the charge of office on July 26 on completion of the tenure of the incumbent proctor Prof Noor Muhammad on July 25, the registrar said.
