The Duta took the decision on the protest programme at an emergency meeting with Duta President Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal in the chair yesterday evening.
In the meeting, the teachers’ association condemned and protested the rape of the student.
The teachers also demanded immediate arrest of the rapist and urged the government to ensure justice by providing exemplary punishment of the culprits.
They also urged people from all walks of life to be united to eliminate the heinous activities like rape from the society, the release added.
