Bir Protik Taramon Bibi hospitalised
Bir Protik Taramon Bibi has been admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital due to severe respiratory and lungs diseases.
Liberation War veteran Taramon Bibi, 68, was admitted at Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital last noon, Dr SK Apu, cardiologist and residential physician at the CCU, told our Mymensingh correspondent.
Earlier in late January, she was released from Rangpur Combined Military Hospital where she was admitted for several days. She was taken to the Mymensingh hospital from her village home yesterday as her condition deteriorated recently, according to hospital sources.
“Taramon is now on oxygen support,” Dr SK Apu said.
Her condition is improving gradually, Dr Apu told our Mymensingh correspondent today.
The MMCH authorities will bear all the treatment expenses of Taramon Bibi, said Brig Gen Nasir Uddin Ahamed, director of the MMCH.
