Body of 7-year-old recovered in Chapainawabganj

Body of a seven-year-old girl was recovered from Manik Hajirtola village of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila, police said.

Police recovered the body of Moslema Khatun Rima this noon from a bamboo grove behind MH Government Primary School after being notified by locals, reports our local correspondent quoting Mahbub Alam Khan, additional superintendent of police (Sadar Circle).

Police suspect that she was raped and then killed.

A nursery student of the school, Rima was missing since Monday, the ASP said.

The body was sent to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
