Gas pipeline leak burns 3 in Dhaka

Three people were burnt as a fire erupted due to a gas pipeline leak in Kolabagan area of the capital on last night.

The injured were identified as Armanuzzaman Choudhury, 42, a private bank official, his wife Afroza Begum, 35, and son Triman,5 all residents of Green Road, Kolabagan area of the city.

Duty officer of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp said the three received burn injuries as a gas pipeline leaked and fire erupted on the sixth floor of a multi-storey building.

Later the injured were rushed to DMCH.
