Militant held over teacher murder attempt remanded
The man held over murder attempt on a college teacher in Madaripur has been placed in a 10-day remand after police produced him before court today.
Madaripur court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Saidur Rahman passed the order after Investigation Officer Md Aubali sought him in custody for 15-day remand.
Detainee Golam Faijullah Fahim, held while fleeing after attacking Government Nazzimuddin University College teacher Ripan Chakraborty, admitted that he is a militant.

Earlier, a case was filed with Madaripur Sadar Police Station accusing six named people. Md Aubali filed the case. Faizullah was shown arrested in this case.
Others accused in the case were Taksin Salman, 20, Shahriar Hasan Polash, 20, Mejbah, 19, Rayhan, 20, and Jahain, 20. They are currently on the run.
