Four people including a mother and her three-month-old baby were killed and 10 injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Sarail upazila of Brahmanbaria this morning.

The deceased are Parvin Akter, 35, wife of Al-Amin Mia of Alamnagar village in Ashuganj upazila of Brahmanbaria and her son Nurunnabi, Syed Hossain, 38, and bus helper Momin Miah, 40, of Habiganj.

Md Younus Miah, officer-in-charge of Sarail Bishwaroad Highway Police Station, said a Dhaka-bound passenger bus collided head-on with a fish-laden truck at Malihata around 7:00am, leaving three passengers and a helper of the bus dead on the spot.

The injured were taken to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital, our district correspondent reports quoting the OC.
