Police have arrested three people with fake currency and local weapons in Narayanganj’s Rupganj upazila.

The arrestees are Nurul Afsar Uddin Chowdhury, 42, Sabina Yasmin Chowdhury, 35, and Saddam Hossain, 25, of Shantinagar area, our Narayanganj correspondent reports quoting police.

The law enforcers arrested them conducting a drive at a house in Barpa Shantinagar area under Rupganj upazila last night, said Manzur Rahman, sub-inspector of Rupganj Police Station.

The policemen also recovered face currency of TK27000, 10 sharp weapons, 70 mobile phones, 25 caret gold.
