Nazmul Huda sued by ACC over false allegation against SK Sinha
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against former transport minister Nazmul Huda for bringing false allegation against former chief justice SK Sinha.
ACC Director Syed Iqbal Hossain filed the case with its integrated district office today.
According to the case statement, former chief justice SK Sinha demanded bribe from Nazmul and gave him hope of dismissing a corruption case filed against the former minister.
In its enquiry, ACC found the allegation against the former chief justice to be completely baseless.
Nazmul, former minister of BNP-Jamaat-led government, brought the allegation against SK Sinha to weaken the graft case filed by ACC in 2008.
Last month, ACC filed two cases against Nazmul Huda's wife and their two daughters for allegedly laundering about Tk 6.73 crore in abroad.
