Train services on Dhaka-Sylhet routes suspended for 6 hrs
Train services of Sylhet with Dhaka and other parts of the country remained suspended for six hours as criminals uprooted rail slipper at Shahpur Bazar in Madhabpur upazila of Habiganj today.
Sub-inspector Sajibur Rahman of Shayestaganj Railway Police, said miscreants uprooted 22 inches long rail slipper near Shahpur Bazar point around 6:00am, halting train movement.
On information, concerned officials of railways went to the spot and repaired the tracks.
Mohammad Ullah, superintendent of Habiganj Police, said the BNP-Jamaat men might have carried out the act of sabotage.
