The results of Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee terminal examinations will be published on December 30.

Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman will hand over the result sheet to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Gonobhaban on that day, said a press release of the ministry. 

The minister officially announced the results at his ministry in the afternoon on that day, said the release.   

The PSC, Ebtedayee, Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JSC) examinees will get their results on the same day as Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid earlier fixed December 30 to publish the JSC and JDC results.

This year, a total of 30,96,075 students took part in the PSC and its madrasa equivalent Ebtedayee examinations.

Among them, 28,04,509 examinees -- 12,99,985 male and 15,04,524 female -- appeared for PSC examinations.

On the other hand, 2,91,566 students appeared for Ebtedayee examinations this year. Of them, 1,53,152 were male and 1,38,414 female.

The examinations took place at more than 7,200 centres across the country and 12 centres abroad.

The total number of this year's examinees were 1,34,213 less than those of the previous year. Last year, 32,30,288 students appeared in the examinations.

The examinations began on November 19 and ended on November 26.
