Pvt university student found dead in Natore
Police recovered the body of a private university student from Sadar upazila of Natore yesterday, nearly a day after he was reported missing.
The deceased was identified as Kamrul Islam, son of Afaz Uddin from Nabinkrisnapur village of the upazila, our Natore correspondent reports quoting Farid Uddin, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Natore Sadar Police Station.
The body of Kamrul, a BBA student of Rajshahi Science and Technology University, was recovered from Halsha area in the upazila with his left eye missing.
Family members could not find Kamrul soon after he received a phone call on Saturday night, Kamrul’s father, Afaz Uddin said.
A General Diary (GD) was filed with the Natore Police Station the next morning (Sunday) in this regard.
Locals found the body around 8:00pm yesterday and informed police who later recovered the body, the correspondent reports quoting the police official.
Police also found injury marks on Kamrul’s body, which has been sent to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, the official added.
