As we strive to bring normalcy back to our daily lives, with a touch of much-needed excitement, Blue Brick Communications is hosting the long-awaited "Dhaka Retro" concert tonight. Featuring four iconic bands from the '90s — Nagar Baul, Ark, Miles, and Dalchhut — the event will also include performances by Jon Kabir, Oni Hasan, and Drockstar Shuvo.

Originally set for October 18 at Dhaka Arena in Purbachal, the concert was postponed at the last minute due to security concerns. Now, it is taking place tonight within a secure venue on military premises, the capital's Senaprangan.

Kazi Riasat Nadid, managing director of Blue Brick Communications, told Prothom Alo, "The 1990s are often referred to as the golden age of band music, and the bands from that era continue to thrive."

"These bands rarely share the same stage anymore, and many fans are eager to see them perform together. With that in mind, we've organised the 'Dhaka Retro' concert. I'm confident it will be an unforgettable experience for everyone," he added.

The event is scheduled to commence at 5pm, with gates opening to attendees from 3pm. Tickets were available in two categories: VIP for Tk 2,400 and General Admission for Tk 1,400.
