Actor from ‘Barbie’ coming to Dhaka premiere
The excitement is reaching a fever pitch as the highly anticipated movie "Barbie" is set to hit the screens on July 21.
Since the release date and the first look were unveiled, fans have been in a frenzy, flooding social media with pink pictures.
Adding to the excitement, it has been revealed that British-Bangladeshi actor Ramzan Mia, who played a South Asian Ken doll in "Barbie", will attend the special premiere show of "Barbie" tomorrow evening. The premiere show will be held at the SKS Tower branch of Star Cineplex in Mohakhali.
Mahbub Rahman Ruhel, Chairman of Star Cineplex, expressed immense pride, stating, "A Bangladeshi actor featuring in a film as popular as 'Barbie' is undoubtedly a matter of great honour for us. We are thrilled to present this actor at the premiere."
"Barbie", directed by Greta Gerwig for Warner Brothers, promises to transport viewers to a colourful and fantastical world. Margot Robbie stars as Barbie and Ryan Gosling stars as Ken in the film.
"Barbie" also features an array of talented actors in various roles, including American pop star Dua Lipa as 'Mermaid Barbie', Nicola Coughlan as 'Diplomat Barbie', Anna Cruz Cain as 'Judge Barbie', and Issa Rae as 'President Barbie', among others.
