Renowned singer and director Anjan Dutt has landed in legal trouble for breaching the contract with producer Rana Sarkar for the film "Bela Bose er Jonye". Last year, the director announced that he is all set to reunite with "Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona" producer Rana Sarkar to bring forward his socio-political drama "Bela Bose" on the silver screen.

Rana Sarker has claimed that Anjan Dutt has suddenly cancelled their contract and went along with another producer. The producer has sent a legal notice seeking compensation of rupees 57 lakhs for breaking off the contract.

Rana has also alleged that neither Anjan Dutta nor his son, music director, Neil Dutt has responded to the legal summons. The producer also claimed that the shooting was supposed to start by the end of this year and that Anjan Dutt even took advance from him, for the movie.

The producer filed a complaint against the ace filmmaker in Alipore court. The court issued a stay order on the film on Friday and thus Anjan Dutt cannot work with any other production house for the time being.

Rana Sarkar is hopeful that the noted singer will reply to his legal notice soon, and compensate him the damaged sum. Anjan Dutt is yet to make any statements to the media regarding the legal dispute around the film.
