‘Bachelor Point’ returns with Season 5 this Eid

The beloved web series "Bachelor Point" is making a much-anticipated comeback with its fifth season. 

A press conference was held on Sunday (June 1) evening at a club in Gulshan to officially announce the new season.

The event brought together key cast and crew members, including Marzuk Russell, Chashi Alam, Ziaul Hoque Polash, Abdullah Rana, Monira Mithu, Musafir Syed, Shimul Sharma, Saidur Rahman Pavel, Faria Shahrin, Lalima, and the series' director Kajal Arefin Ome.

In an emotional speech, Kajal Arefin Ome reflected on the journey of the show, saying, "To be honest, when I started the 'Bachelor Point' series, I didn't even know what the future held. I began the journey sincerely with the limited budget I had, never thinking too much about the money. Step by step, we've now reached five seasons over seven years."

"I've always worked with the audience in mind—everything I do is for them. It's because of their demand that we're bringing 'Season 5' after 26 months. While making this series, I've faced many obstacles. People around me often said there were many complaints against me. But every challenge I faced brought something new to my career," he added.

Discussing the upcoming season's production, Ome added, "I made the previous season based on television and YouTube standards. But over the past two years, I've created several web-based contents that the audience has really enjoyed. Through those projects, I've gained a kind of cinematic experience. I want that cinematic touch to be reflected in my direction for the new season."

All eight episodes of the new season will be available for streaming on the Bongo app on Eid day.

In July, another eight episodes will be released on the Bongo app at 7 pm on the first Thursday of the month. On the same day, the first episode will also premiere at 9 pm on Boom Films' official YouTube channel and at 9.30 pm on Channel i.

The second episode will follow the next day (Friday), premiering at 9 pm on YouTube and 9.30 pm on Channel i. This release pattern will continue every Thursday and Friday night.
