'It's not business, it's strictly personal': SRK on 'Pathaan' being number one Hindi film
Shah Rukh Khan, who is still reeling from the success of Pathaan, took to Twitter on Wednesday, to thank all of his fans for their support of the film.
The superstar went on to say that he believes the film's success can only be attributed to hard work.
"It's not the business.. it's strictly personal," the actor tweeted.
"Making people happy and entertaining them is our business, and if we don't take it personally, it won't fly. Thank you to everyone who supported Pathaan and everyone who worked on the film to prove that hardwork always pays off," read the tweet.
Pathaan's domestic collection is currently estimated to be Rs 536 crore, according to reports. The total global revenue is Rs 1,039 crore. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film saw an upward trend due to a partial holiday and earned one crore more.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Atlee's "Jawan" alongside Nayanthara. The film is set to be released on June 2nd. He's also working on Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki."
