'Jawan' screening temporarily halted due to Durga Puja
Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Jawan" received an excellent response from theaters worldwide on September 7. The film was released in Bangladesh on the same day as its global premiere date.
The Ministry of Information allowed the release of the movie on an import basis. However, the screening of the movie "Jawan" has been temporarily halted due to Durga Puja. After running for two months, the screening of the Hindi film has been stopped due to the importing policy, which states that no Hindi film can be screened during holidays, including Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, and Durga Puja.
The import process of "Jawan" has been facilitated by Action Cut Entertainment and Rongdhonu Group.
The importing company and Star Cineplex have confirmed the news to The Daily Star. The screening of this movie will be closed for the next few days.
"Jawan" features a star-studded cast, including the charismatic Shah Rukh Khan and the acclaimed South Indian superstar Nayanthara.
