Jazz Multimedia announced the winners of the '1 lakh' challenge through a lottery. Four contestants will be able to take part in the BDT 1 lakh challenge by watching "Jinn" alone in a theater.

Jazz Multimedia announced on their social media that almost 25 thousand people participated in the contest.

Puja Chery was present during the live show to pick up the lucky numbers. Five contestants' names were announced: Dr Yousuf Azad, Doha Brishti, Jisan, Russell, and Afrin Islam. Afrin will get to watch the movie only if one of the four contestants fails to show up.

In the video, the actress explained that they were able to choose only four winners as the hall could only screen 4 shows in a day.

On the day of the challenge, the winners will arrive at Jazz Multimedia office and from there onwards they will be taken to cinema halls to watch the 8pm show of "Jinn" on April 17.

Jazz Multimedia will go live and showcase their reactions on their social media page on Monday.

However, fans were enraged with the whole lottery process as they called out the makers for using few chits in the raffle draw and that only few winners were selected for the 1 lakh challenge.

One of the users wrote, "Jazz Multimedia staged the whole thing. They chose their own employees as winners."

"Almost 25 thousand people applied and you are only letting 4 people to take part in the challenge. You should allow at least 1000 people," wrote another user.

"I have only come here to watch the drama", said another user.

Directed by Nader Chowdhury, the horror film will showcase Shajal Noor and Puja Chery in a movie together for the first time. "Jinn" is scheduled for release on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
