Nader Chowdhury's directorial debut "Jinn" created quite a buzz among audiences, with actor Shajal Noor in the lead role. Following its success, "Mona: Jinn-2" was produced, but Shajal was not part of the cast. Now, "Jinn 3" is set to go into production, featuring actor Shajal in the lead, once again.

The upcoming third installment in the horror franchise will be directed by Kamruzzaman Roman.

Speaking to The Daily Star this afternoon, Shajal confirmed the news, saying, "'Jinn 3' is being made, and I will be acting in it. This is wonderful news for me."

He further added, "'Jinn 3' will be full of surprises for the audiences. We will start shooting very soon. Nusraat Faria will also be part of the film, alongside several other artistes."

The actor also revealed that he had signed the contract for "Jinn 3" quite some time ago. "The first instalment brought me immense love from the audience. I believe 'Jinn 3' will receive an even greater response," he exclaimed.

Shajal explained, "A film only gets a sequel when it attains widespread appreciation from audiences. I am happy to see the 'Jinn' franchise progressing creatively."
