Shooting for Afran Nisho starrer ‘Surongo’ begins today
The shooting for Raihan Rafi's much awaited film, "Surongo" has started today in Sylhet. In this film, Afran Nisho will be playing the character of a mine worker. Nisho will be making his silver screen debut—opposite the actress Tama Mirza—through this film.
Raihan Rafi posted a picture of the film shoot on his Facebook account.
Earlier, the star-studded muhurat ceremony of the film was held on February 28.
Speaking about the film, the "Kaiser" actor beautifully explained why he thought "Surongo" would be the best film with which to make his silver screen debut. "I have had a wonderful journey with both Chorki and Alpha-i. It has always been a dream of mine to debut on the silver screen, but I was unable to find the right script. However, I really appreciated Rafi's work and I knew he had a knack for crafting unique stories," said Nisho.
Meanwhile, Tama Mirza captured the attention with her brilliant performance as Muna in the thriller web film "Friday" on Binge.
The film, "Surongo" is expected to release in the theatres on upcoming Eid.
