SRK fans make new Guinness World Record ahead of ‘Pathaan’ TV premiere
Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" continues to break records after his fans registered a new Guinness World record this Saturday, ahead of the TV premiere of his blockbuster hit.
On Saturday, Shah Rukh Khan, along with 300 of his followers, performed his iconic pose outside Mannat—SRK's home—setting a Guinness World Record for 'most people performing the Shah Rukh Khan pose together'.
According to social media videos, the 57-year-old actor waved to his fans before greeting them with his iconic open-arms pose. He also did the hook step to the popular "Pathaan" song, "Jhoome jo Pathaan".
The record was created in order to commemorate the television premiere of "Pathaan", which will happen on June 18.
"Pathaan" became the year's biggest hit, breaking into the Rs 1,000 crore club. The film received a lot of love from the audience. It generated so much interest that it was dubbed and distributed in Russia. Alongside SRK, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham also star in the film, which is directed by Siddharth Anand.
Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming project includes Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki" and Atlee's "Jawan".
