Mild cold wave hits 5 districts; temperature may rise: BMD
Mild cold wave is sweeping over five districts -- Panchagarh, Kurigram, Jashore, Moulvibazar, and Gopalganj -- and the temperature may rise slightly in the next 24 hours, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
In its latest weather bulletin this morning, BMD said night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country in 24 hours commencing 9:00am today.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country during the period.
This morning, BMD recorded the country's lowest temperature at 8.2 degrees Celsius in Panchagarh's Tetulia.
Besides, Dhaka's minimum temperature was 13.2 degrees Celsius.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night to morning, it added.
