At least 20 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours till this morning.

With the new cases, the total number of dengue cases rose to 1,566 this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of deaths this year is 20.

Last year, the country witnessed 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 321,179 reported cases.
