THE KING RESTS … A grey-headed fish eagle, perched on a tree branch, taking a break from hunting. These majestic birds of prey make use of tall trees to either rest or spot prey. Even though they are found in almost every district in Bangladesh, the birds are listed as ‘near-threatened’ by the IUCN, due to degradation of water bodies and human disturbance, among other issues.
