District family planning official among 19 dead in bus crash
The acting deputy director of the district family planning office in Gopalganj was one of 19 people killed after an Emad Paribahan bus fell into a ditch this morning in Madaripur's Shibchar upazila.
Anadi Ranjan Mazumder, an official of BCS-20th batch, boarded the bus from Gonapara of Gopalganj, intending to go to Dhaka for an office training.

BM Moniurzzaman, assistant director of Anadi's office confirmed the news of his death. His body was first taken to Bhanga Family Planning office, where he was posted for a long time. From there, his body will be taken to his Gopalganj office and later to his village home in Mollarhat upazila of Bagerhat, said Moniruzzaman.
Anadi has two children. One of them is a student of Dhaka University.
