Three people injured in the BM Depot fire in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram have been referred to Sheikh Hasina Burn Institute in Dhaka for better treatment.

Dr Samanta Lal Sen, coordinator of the burn institute confirmed the news to The Daily Star.

"The three were brought this morning with nearly 14-15 percent burn injuries. Part of their lungs have also been damaged," he said.

"They will require ICU support," he added.
