Ctg fire depot: Fire service forms 7-member probe body

Fire Service and Civil Defence has formed a seven-member committee to find out the cause behind the fire at BM container depot in Sitakunda of Chittagong.

Director (Training, Planning and Development) of fire service Lt Col Md Rezaul Karim will lead the committee, according to a notification issued today.

The fire broke out at the container terminal in Kadamrsul area last night.

The death toll in the fire has risen to 40.
