Chittagong University confers honorary DLitt on Yunus

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has been awarded an honorary Doctorate of Literature (DLitt) degree by the University of Chittagong during its fifth convocation on campus today.

CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Muhammad Yeahia Akhter presented the certificate of the degree to Prof Yunus on behalf of the university.

Earlier in the morning, the chief adviser arrived at Shah Amanat International Airport on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight that landed at 9:22am.
