'A day to fulfil the country's dream': PM inaugurates Padma rail link

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the 82-kilometre rail line from Dhaka to Bhanga via the Padma Bridge today, opening a new horizon for rail connectivity in the southwestern region of the country.

Hasina inaugurated the line from a programme at Mawa Rail Station at 12:25pm today.

"It is a day to fulfil a dream of the country," the prime minister told a civic rally held at the station before inaugurating the line.
