Nothing Special about this Shooter

Ready Steady Bang is a Western themed point and click shooting game. You stare your enemy down from one end of your screen as the timer counts down from five. You need good hand eye coordination to time your shot better than your opponent to get the win. A very simple game and yet I have spent a lot of time playing this game with friends and family.

The visuals are a fond reminder of old school black and white 8-bit games. The character sprites are themed around moustached wielding gun slingers of the Wild West. The sound design of this game is memorable as well. The aforementioned countdown is announced hilariously with "Ready Steady Bang" – your cue being the "Bang". The only bit of complexity this game has to offer is that the announcer varies his timing of the last call for each round of the game. The death animations are comical as well with over 15 different animations to unlock.

You can play the game single player but the best way to experience it is with a friend. It's a local multiplayer game and all you need is just one device with the game on it. There really isn't anything special about this game but there's a certain charm to that fact.
