Trump's awkward phone call with Mexico president

US President Donald Trump awkwardly waited over phone trying to connect with his Mexican counterpart Enrique Pena Nieto, reports CNBC.

President trump was scheduled to talk to the Mexican president over phone while announcing on camera a trade agreement with Mexico that moves the two neighbouring countries closer to replacing the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

US president had to wait for about a minute and was rescued by a staff who helped him connect to the Mexican president through another phone, CNBC reports.
