The Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, the most coveted 50-over competition in the country, will start from April 12 instead of the earlier announced date of April 7.

The Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) deferred the league to allow cricketers involved in the ongoing series in Sri Lanka, and those who had played in the Emerging Teams Asia Cup more recovery time ahead of the competition.

The CCDM has also fixed March 31 to April 10 as the window for clubs to complete the transfer formalities of players who have not been registered yet.
