Former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo invited ex-teammate Rio Ferdinand to his home in Madrid.

The pair had a lively talk where they discussed Cristano’s career at Real Madrid and also his latest Nike Mercurial boots.

Ferdinand had recently announced his ambition to pursue the career of a professional boxer and he asked Cristiano about where he saw himself in the next ten years.

The Real Madrid forward joked that he could follow Ferdinand into boxing.

"10 years? No, in 10 years it will be tough. Maybe I will be a boxer like you!”

Reunited with his former teammate, Cristiano reminisced about his move from Manchester United to Real Madrid.

"I will never forget the Red Devils. I learnt to be better and better, being around the best players in the world."

"I just thought in my mind I want to go there to show my level, to show that I'm a different player and that's what I did," Ronaldo added.

"I arrived and I had a fantastic first season and then I have improved every season," said the Portuguese star who has won three Champions League title at Real Madrid.
