Mustafizur unlikely to take part in BPL
Mustafizur Rahman is unlikely to play any part in the upcoming edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The left-arm pacer suffered a twisted ankle during warm up and was sidelined for the ODI series against the Proteas.
After an assessment of the injury today it was learnt that Mustafizur had suffered a grade two strain.
A grade two strain usually takes about three weeks of recovery time and it is unlikely that the strike bowler would be able to participate in this season's BPL. Musustafizur was set feature for Rajshahi Kings this season.
Mustafizur had also missed the last edition of the BPL due to a shoulder injury.
The BPL is set to begin on November 4.
