Sabina scores again in Indian Women’s League
Having become champions in the U-15 CGI Youth Football tournament in Hong Kong yesterday, Bangladesh’s women footballers keep proving their mettle as Sabina Khatun scored again in India’s women’s league in her side Sethu FC’s 2-0 victory over Rising Students club.
Sabina, who had also opened the scoring in her side’s 2-0 victory against Gokulam Kerala FC in the previous match now has two goals in three league appearances. The first half between Rising and Sethu today ended 0-0 before Sabina took matters into her own hands. Picking up a pass from captain and teammate Indumathi, Sabina side-stepped two defenders to score in the 47th minute.
