The eight-day Jatiyo Patho Natya Utshab 2019 (National Street Theatre Festival 2019)  is set to commence with an opening ceremony today at the Central Shaheed Minar at 4 pm. State Minister of Cultural Affairs, K M Khalid, MP, will grace the event as the chief guest. Vice-chancellor of the University of Dhaka, Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman, will inaugurate the programme. The occasion will be organised by Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation (BGTF) in association with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA)  and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. The Chairman of BGTF and Director General of BSA, Liaquat Ali Lucky, will preside over the event. Many  other renowned names from the theatre arena will also be present.
