Woman dies of dengue in Savar

A woman has died after she was diagnosed with dengue in Savar, on the outskirts of Dhaka.  

Khadija Begum, 42, wife of Habibur Rahman, breathed her last at Enam Medical College Hospital in Saver around 11:00pm yesterday, Yousuf Ali, duty manager of the hospital, told The Daily Star.

Khadija was diagnosed with dengue fever some days ago and was staying at her residence.

She was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital around 5:00pm yesterday after her condition deteriorated, said her husband Habibur Rahman, also a teacher of Ashulia School and College in Savar.
