JP council Dec 28

Jatiya Party will hold its central council on December 28 in Dhaka.

The decision was taken in a meeting of JP’s presidium members at the party chairman’s Banani office today. JP Chairman GM Quader presided over the meeting.

The council will be held at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) in the capital, the party sources said after the meeting.

The party also decided unanimously to nominate JP presidium member Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu to contest in the Chattogram-8 by-election.

The seat fell vacant following demise of lawmaker Mayeen Uddin Khan Badal on November 7.
